The Egyptian government is considering exporting trained technical workers outside the country, given the volume of requests received from many countries, especially European ones.
The Egyptian government said in a statement that it requires expanding the preparation of technical cadres and trained labor to export them abroad, in order to meet these demands, and to provide new job opportunities for those workers trained on the latest systems in various sectors, keeping pace with global developments.
The government stressed the importance of full cooperation and coordination between the various ministries and concerned authorities regarding the preparation of trained technical workers, and the need to have a general institutional framework governing this file, pointing to the importance of qualifying the technically required cadres, and working to organize more specialized educational and training programs that would contribute to refining the skills of those cadres, while issuing the necessary licenses for their work abroad.
Egyptian Minister of Immigration Suha Gendy explained that the government aims to find paths for legal immigration by working to study labor markets and the needs of destination countries, and then conclude agreements on labor mobility, in addition to combating illegal immigration, maximizing the benefit of Egyptians returning from abroad and working to qualify them according to the needs of the markets, and in line with their aspirations.
