Amr El-Feki, CEO and Managing Director of United Media Services, announced that 60% of the profits of the El Alamein Festival will be allocated to support the Palestinian people.
This announcement comes in conjunction with the ongoing conflict in Gaza and its humanitarian and destructive effects.
El-Feki explained that the festival has also allocated places for people with disabilities and free tickets for the families of martyrs, confirming its commitment to humanitarian issues.
He added that the El Alamein Festival aims to attract tourists and promote Egyptian culture and art on the international scene.
El-Feki stated that the festival, which witnesses a partnership with 25 private sector companies, provides thousands of job opportunities and is considered a step towards launching major international entertainment projects.
The festival enhances its role in promoting investment opportunities in the Northwest Coast region and reflects the power of soft power in supporting the state’s efforts to develop tourism.
For his part, Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy confirmed that the New Alamein City has received tourists from 104 nationalities this year, which contributed to increasing tourism flows to Egypt by 6% per month.
It is noteworthy that the El Alamein Festival, which is held in the New Alamein City, highlights the urban development in the region and promotes tourism by presenting various artistic, cultural and sports shows.
