Addis Drilling Services plans to complete the drilling of six oil production wells from the Egyptian General Petroleum Company’s GG field project in the Gulf of Suez.
A company official said that the project will add a daily production of crude oil estimated at two thousand barrels and pointed to Addis’ cooperation with the General Petroleum Company and PetroSalam in the field of offshore platform construction.
He said that Addis has established 3 offshore platforms for the General Petroleum Company in the fields of “HH”, southeast of Al-Hamad, and “GG” in the Ras Ghareb area in the Gulf of Suez, and two fields have been placed on the production map.
The official also pointed out that the company has completed the implementation of the project with PetroSalam to establish offshore platforms in the Gulf of Suez area, and the field has been placed on the production map with a capacity of 3,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
He pointed to Addis cooperating with Petrojet in manufacturing operations and another in America in terms of platform engineering.
The company also explained in its statement that it signed an agreement with the Suez Oil Company “SOCO” and Choucair Marine Oil Company, which are affiliated with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation to operate and raise the productivity of obsolete major fields in Egypt.
Addis plans to invest $30 million for Soco and $36 million for Osocco during the first three years of the agreement.
