Cairo Criminal Court is looking into the lawsuit filed by the “slapped” young man, Saad Osama, against the singer Amr Diab on charges of bullying, bullying and disturbing the public peace, and his lawyers are demanding huge compensation.

The plaintiff’s lawyers submitted a temporary compensation request of one billion pounds, and the relevant authorities set a session on July 30 to consider the case.

Dr. Hussein Abdullah Al-Mutaani, the lawyer, appealed, with an urgent report to the Public Prosecutor, in solidarity with him 53 other lawyers from Luxor Governorate, headed by El-Doshi Shukr, the head of the Luxor Bar Association, and the report bore the number 807350 against Amr Abdel Basset Abdel Aziz Diab, known in the media as Amr Diab.

The report against Amr Diab came against the backdrop of an incident that stirred public opinion, after a video spread showing the Egyptian singer slapping a man from Luxor Governorate at a wedding party in one of Cairo’s hotels.

The investigating authorities summoned the young man, Saad Osama, to hear his statements about the incident, and Amr Diab had filed a report against the young man in the New Cairo First Police Station after the incident.

Amr Diab’s lawyer stated in the report that the artist was harmed by the young man who grabbed him from behind and put his mobile phone in his face to force him to take inappropriate pictures.

The lawyer explained that the young man was not invited to the wedding and tried to do the same thing with all the artists present, noting that the young man also pulled the artist Mohamed Ramadan in the same way.

Amr Diab’s lawyer confirmed that the artist does not know the young man, and although he had asked to take pictures four times before and did not prevent him, the young man pulled him in a strange way and tried to assault him, which prompted Diab to act inappropriately in front of everyone, and after knowing the young man’s name and trying to reconcile with him, Diab was met with rejection by the young man.
