The Department for Combating Illegal Migration in Benghazi deported 109 migrants, who hold dual Sudanese and Chadian citizenship.

The media office of the Presidency of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration said in a statement that the deportation included (62) Sudanese migrants and (47) Chadians, from the shelter and deportation center of Ganfouda to the Kufra center in preparation for their deportation to their country.

The agency pointed out that the deportees, some of whom are infected with infectious diseases such as hepatitis (C-B) and were caught through the daily campaigns launched by the branch, including those who have security restrictions and deportation rulings from the country.

The agency confirmed in its statement that these works are carried out by the Benghazi branch to maintain the national security and health of the city.
