Real Madrid’s Aurelien Choameni has confirmed his team’s determination to qualify for the second leg against Bayern Munich after a 2-2 draw in the Champions League semi-finals.
Choameni said, during remarks quoted by the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” Spanish: “We wanted to win, but in the end, we drawn, and the most important thing is to play in the second leg with the support of our fans, and we know that we can win at home, and we will prepare, our goal is to win the title.”
“We started the second half very well, but we conceded two goals, we have to do better, but we fought until the end to score the second goal, we are in a good position, we will play at the Bernabéu to win,” said Choameni.
Choameni praised the performance of his team-mates, saying: “Kroos and Vinicius are fantastic, we have an amazing team, and we know that we are the best team in the world.”
Choameni expressed his readiness to play any role required of him by the coach, whether in midfield or central defense, stressing his dedication to helping the team in any position assigned to him.
The second leg between the two teams is scheduled to take place next Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu stronghold.
