The Chadian ambassador to Russia, Adam Bachir Mahmoud, announced that Chad is working to cancel entry visas for Russian citizens, and these changes may come into effect before the end of 2024.
In a statement to “TASS”, Ambassador Mahmoud said: “We are working to introduce a visa-free regime with Russia,” and he did not rule out that entry visas for Russian citizens traveling to Chad would be canceled before the end of 2024.
The ambassador explained that the decision will first apply to holders of diplomatic and service passports, before including holders of ordinary passports.
