The “Global Petroleum Price” website published a list of prices per liter of 95-octane gasoline in about 168 countries of the world, with Libya ranked second at a price of $0.031 per liter.

The value of one liter of gasoline, in Libyan currency, is estimated at 15.5 piasters, which may range between 5 to 8 dinars to fill the average tank of private vehicles of common use.

Libya came in second place, after Venezuela, which had a value per liter of about $0.016, while Libya was followed by Iran, Angola and Algeria, according to the website.

Many major oil-producing countries, including Venezuela, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, have very low domestic fuel costs. On the other hand, gasoline prices are rising significantly in countries such as Hong Kong and Monaco, where the price of one liter ranges at $2,353, and Norway, where the price reaches To $2.05 per litre.
