The Arabian Gulf Oil Company in Benghazi organized the activities of the Libyan Heritage Festival in its second season, coinciding with the 52nd anniversary of the nationalization of the company, in the presence of the Chairman of the Management Committee, “Mohammed bin Shatwan”, a number of department managers and a group of company employees.
The festival activities included heritage performances from various cities and regions of Libya, in addition to a traditional fashion show, and workshops to teach traditional arts and crafts.
The Chairman of the Management Committee delivered a speech in which he spoke about the nobility of Libyan history, its cultural and heritage diversity, and the mixing of different races under the banner of religion and one homeland.
The festival included an exhibition of Libyan heritage, in which the Libyan Amazon Organization, Asateer, Al-Khair Organization, sculptor Mohammed Tarhouni and plastic artist Haitham bin Salem participated.
