Reigning champions and hosts of the AFC Asian Cup were crowned champions after defeating Jordan 3-1 in the final match held on Saturday at Lusail Stadium.
The triple scored “Annabi” star Akram Afif from three penalties in the minutes (22, 73 and 90 + 5), while Yazan Al-Nuaimat scored the only goal “Al-Nashama” in the 67th minute of the meeting.
With this crown, the Qatari team retained its 2019 title in the UAE, while the Jordanian team failed to achieve the first title in its history and was satisfied with the silver medal.
