Morocco’s competent public prosecutor has launched investigations into the death of a minor girl inside a tourist villa in Marrakech.

Two Gulf nationals were arrested, while seven others of Kuwaiti nationality and three young Moroccan women were released on bail.

The sources indicated that the authorities have referred the case to the first instance court, where the suspects are being investigated in the circumstances of the victim’s death, which seemed mysterious.

Security sources said that the cause of death of the girl, who was in her second decade, may have been caused by excessive doses of drugs, and is awaiting an autopsy report to determine the true cause of her death.
