An organized gang in Lebanon has been seriously charged after six minors filed a complaint of solicitation, extortion, rape, sexual harassment, and coercion to use drugs.

According to the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, the network offered inducements to minors before inviting them to parties in several hotels and chalets.

The Internal Security Forces were able to identify 26 suspects and arrest six individuals, including influencers on the application “TikTok”, among those arrested, the owner of a barber shop and another owner of a clothing store, who were part of the gang that targeted minors.

In a related context, Judge Joelle Bou Haidar, the Juvenile Affairs Supervisor in Mount Lebanon, requested that the names of the victims not be published or circulated in order to avoid causing them further psychological harm.
