Gamal Allam, president of the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed that Mohamed Salah will join the Olympic team at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.

He added that Ruggero Micali, the coach of the Olympic team, will soon announce the list of the three big players who will participate in the Olympics.

Each team has the right to include 3 players over the age of 23 in the men’s football competition scheduled between July 24 and August 9.

Egypt came in Group C along with Spain, the Dominican Republic, and a qualified team from Asia.

Mohamed Salah has not won any trophies with Egypt, who were runners-up at the 2017 and 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

But Salah’s track record is with Liverpool FC, winning the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020.
