American artist Angelina Jolie asked her ex-husband, artist Brad Pitt, to end the ongoing dispute and conflict between them, after 8 years of legal disputes.
Jolie’s request came after she submitted a request to the court to obtain communications made by Pitt with third parties related to the incident of her “assault” on a private plane in 2016, and Jolie filed for divorce shortly after that incident.
Pitt’s lawyers rejected this request and described it as “oppressive.” Despite this rejection, Jolie confirmed that her request came in order to end the state of conflict and for Brad Pitt to drop his lawsuit against her regarding their winery.
Media reports recently revealed new details regarding the cause of the differences between the two stars during their marriage, which largely revolved around their differences in methods of raising and raising their children.
The sources explained that these differences were the main reason behind ending their marriage, as Pitt wanted to impose more rules on the children, while Jolie preferred that the children be more independent and responsible for themselves and their tasks from a young age.
The children’s relationship with their father was greatly affected by these disputes, as reports stated that Vivienne, the 15-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, dropped her father’s name, and her sister Shiloh did the same, as she deleted her father’s name and kept her mother’s family surname only.
In addition to Vivienne and Shiloh, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have four other children: Maddox (22 years old), Pax (20 years old), Zahara (19 years old), and Knox (15 years old).
When Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, she requested full custody of their six children.
