An Israeli soldier threw a stun grenade towards the Ministry of Security, in an unusual incident that occurred at the Israeli “Tel Hashomer” base.
The soldier, known for previous violent incidents, threw a suspicious object at the Ministry of Defense facility in Tel Hashomer, near the Ministry of Defense, which led to an explosion in the facility’s parking lot.
According to the “Israel Hayom” website, the explosion did not result in injuries or damage, and the police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the 48-year-old soldier.
It is noteworthy that the detained soldier has a history of serious incidents of violence against employees of the Rehabilitation Department of the Ministry of Defense, including death threats against employees and managers.
This incident came in light of the tense atmosphere taking place in Israel, where pressure is increasing on the Netanyahu government regarding a possible truce agreement with the Hamas movement, amid rejection from some extremists and demands from the opposition and families of the prisoners to accept it.
