The Jordanian, Egyptian, Emirati, and Qatari air forces carried out a joint airdrop over the Gaza Strip, as part of joint international efforts to provide aid and alleviate the suffering of the residents of the besieged enclave.
Jordan’s King Abdullah II participated in the airdrops, stressing Jordan’s continued support for the Palestinians.
The Egyptian armed forces announced their participation alongside the UAE, Qatar, France, and Jordan in this humanitarian operation.
According to the Jordan News Agency, 6 C-130 aircraft took off, including 3 aircraft belonging to the Jordanian Air Force and 3 other Emirati, Egyptian and French aircraft, as part of the humanitarian aid operation aimed at alleviating the people of the Gaza Strip, as part of an international effort with the participation of brotherly and friendly countries.
These operations were aimed at delivering aid directly to the Gaza coast, where aid was dropped from aircraft at low altitudes without the use of parachute guidance devices.
The assistance includes relief and food items, including ready-made meals with high nutritional value, to alleviate the hardships faced by the people of Gaza.
One of the planes was allocated to transport aid to the second Jordanian field hospital in the southern Gaza Strip, which suffers from severe shortages of basic materials, as the hospital is equipped with relief and medical materials, health supplies and fuel to meet the necessary needs.
