The incident took place in the city of Cianjur on the island of West Java, where the 26-year-old husband reported his 26-year-old wife for fraud, 12 days after their wedding.
The husband revealed that he was living alone before he met his wife through social networking sites one year ago, and after the completion of the marriage, she refused to have sex with him, citing illness and fatigue, and her dress contributed to hiding her true identity.
The husband explained that his suspicion of his wife made him watch her to discover that she was a man, so the police arrested the forged wife and charged her under article 378 of the Criminal Code, which is punishable by 4 years in prison.
