An entire Egyptian family was killed on Monday, as a result of a collision between two transport vehicles and a private car on the Badr City Road.

The security services received a report stating the death of a family consisting of the father, Ibrahim Ahmed Abdel Fattah Al-Ghawabi, 42 years old, his wife, Dina Maghazi, and their three children, Aser, Ahmed, and Malak, all of whom are from the village of Hamada, the Awlad Saqr center in Sharkia Governorate.

Investigations reported that the family was spending the summer vacation in Egypt after they came from the Emirates, where the father works, and Emirati residency cards for the children were found in the family’s belongings, indicating that they were living with their father in the Emirates.

In the village, an atmosphere of shock and sadness prevailed as the people prepared for the family’s funeral, and social media users expressed their deep sadness over the tragedy, as their pages turned into condolence books filled with obituaries and calls for mercy for the deceased and for their families to be patient.

For his part, Emirati businessman, Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor, mourned the deceased family through his official account on the social networking site “X”, announcing that the father was working in the “Al Habtoor Group” in the Emirates.

In a kind humanitarian gesture, Al Habtoor announced his donation of ongoing charity for the soul of the deceased and his family, as an expression of his solidarity with the family in this painful tragedy.
