An American Triton drone was seen monitoring the Libyan coast near Al Khoms, “Tripoli” and Zuwara.
Italian military radars reported, via a post on the “X” platform, that they had spotted the plane that was patrolling the coastal areas.
Although the exact purpose of the plane’s mission is not yet known, such activities confirm the ongoing American attempts to return to Libya and collect intelligence information.
The use of advanced drones such as the “Triton”, which conducts long-duration flights and high-altitude surveillance, indicates a major American military and security investment in Libya.
