Egyptian broadcaster Amr Adib mocked the proposal made by the head of the Egyptian Wafd Party, Abdel Sanad Yamama, Egypt’s former presidential candidate.
Yamama called for the enactment of a law obliging Egyptians abroad to donate 20% of their monthly income in foreign currency to Egypt, while providing constitutional and legal guarantees for workers’ rights.
For his part, Adib commented sarcastically on the proposal, stressing that it included the name of the player “Liverpool” English, Mohamed Salah.
In a sarcastic statement, Adib said: “I liked the proposal Oy frankly, and I want to say that we can also force them that each one of them donates a kidney,” and then added with a wry smile: “We force each one of them donates a kidney and part of the liver.”
Adib continued with additional irony: “The luck of the country is a monster if Yamama Mabqash is the president of the republic, because if he had remained president, he would still have solutions like this to the economic crisis.”
At the end of his speech, Adib presented another funny idea, saying: “I am saying the proposal is sweet, and I wish each one while he is coming down two children donate 10 liters of blood.”
