Police in Los Angeles found the American actor Johnny Waktor shot dead last Saturday night, after unknown assailants opened fire on him while he was with his friend.
Initial investigations revealed that Wactor (37 years old) died during an attempt to steal his car. While he was with his friend, he was surprised by three people trying to steal his vehicle. When he tried to confront them, they shot him and fled.
The victim’s mother explained that Johnny Wactor was on his way to leave work in downtown Los Angeles and noticed that his car was jacked up.
While he thought they were trying to tow it, he approached them and was surprised when they shot him. She described him as “always kind to people.”
The late brother, Lance, said in expression of his sadness: “One of the worst things is not being able to have a conversation with him again,” adding, “He is one of my best friends.”
While investigations are still ongoing, the authorities are collecting evidence and reviewing video clips to monitor the surrounding streets with the aim of uncovering the circumstances of the crime.
It is noteworthy that Johnny Actor presented the character “Brando Corbin” in the series “General Hospital” from 2020 to 2022, and participated in famous series such as “Westworld,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Station 19.”
