“Zalarab” is the award in Literature and Arts category for the year 2023 in appreciation for the contributions in Arabic literature.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, explained that the award was given to the Algerian novelist “in recognition for his great literary contributions, as Professor Wasini presented more than 30 novels related to Arab societies, their culture, and their environment.
