Algerian media reported that 10 people died from an alcoholic drink in the city of Maghnia in the northwestern province of Tlemcen.
The local media quoted the director of the hospital “Shaaban Hamdoun” in the city of Maghnia that a number of people who consumed alcohol of unknown origin were transferred to the hospital, 8 of them died while two died in Tlemcen Hospital.
The director of the hospital stated that the deceased underwent an autopsy and samples were sent to the National Institute of Criminal Evidence in the capital to find out the real causes, and investigations are still ongoing to find out all the circumstances of the incident.
