Algeria won the African Badminton Championship for the fourth time in a row, which was held in Egypt.
The Algerian national team came after defeating Nigeria (3-2) in the final, after being behind in the score (1-2), before turning the tables upside down, and deciding the match in their favor by three games to two.
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulated the national team after being crowned the continental championship title and wrote on his personal account on the “X” platform: “A tribute of appreciation to our national badminton team for winning the continental title, crowning the African championship for the fourth time in a row is a great achievement, thank you and all the technical and administrative staff, and the rest of the journey is successful, God willing.”
