Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergey Alainik announced the start of a new phase of cooperation between Algeria and Belarus in the tourism and education sectors.
Alainik said during a press conference after meeting with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune that he delivered a message from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko calling for strengthening ties and expanding joint cooperation.
Alainike noted the importance that the two countries attach to supporting international efforts and working towards a multipolar world.
During the meeting, several themes were discussed, including industry, agriculture, food security, and culture, as well as the strategic steps necessary to activate future cooperation.
The two sides expressed readiness to hold preliminary sessions to shape this cooperation, paving the way for closer relations and wider exchange in the fields of education and tourism between the two countries.
