Al-Saadi Al Qaddafi, the son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, stated that signs of the outbreak of a third world war were beginning to loom on the horizon, pointing to the possibility of the use of nuclear weapons in the Ukrainian conflict and the outbreak of a regional war in the Middle East.

Al-Saadi stressed that forming a unified government in Libya could contribute to preventing the outbreak of an external conflict as a result of the repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis and help avoid the division of Libya.
Al-Saadi stressed the importance of world peace and national reconciliation in Libya, considering them as an urgent priority at the present time.
