Today, Wednesday, the head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Muhammad al-Manfi, discussed with the Russian ambassador to Libya, Haider Rashid Aghanen, ways to strengthen the political process in the country.
During the meeting, Al-Manfi stressed the need to communicate with all Libyan parties to achieve a comprehensive political settlement that ends all transitional stages.
This meeting coincided with the Russian National Day celebrations, where the two parties exchanged views on many issues of common interest, including bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Russian ambassador expressed his country’s support for the efforts aimed at enhancing stability and development in Libya, stressing Russia’s readiness to contribute effectively in this regard.
