Al Hilal Club, the champion of the Saudi Roshen League, is in strong competition to sign Belgian star Johan Bakayoko, a player for the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

This competition comes in light of the desire of the two giants of English football, Liverpool and Arsenal, to include the 21-year-old player, who dazzled followers with his outstanding performance last year, scoring 14 goals and as many assists.

According to what was reported by Al Kass channel, Al Hilal’s interest in this Belgian talent comes within the framework of the club’s endeavor to strengthen its squad, continue its local dominance, and achieve its continental ambitions under the leadership of its Portuguese coach, Jorge Jesus.

For its part, Liverpool considers Bakayoko an option to strengthen its attacking line in the event of the departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who has become the focus of attention of many major clubs, as these steps come in the context of the clubs’ preparations for the new season, and each of them seeks to form a squad capable of competing at the highest levels.

Earlier, the “onefootball” sports network reported statements by the player Bakayoko, in which he denied his desire to leave his club, despite the interest of many European clubs in obtaining his services this summer, stressing at the same time that this does not prevent him from studying all the offers that reach him.

According to the international website “Transfermarkt”, Bakayoko’s contract with his Dutch club expires in June 2026, and his current market value is 45 million euros.
