The Moroccan national team (Atlas Lions) arrived on Sunday in San Pedro in Ivory Coast, in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will start on January 13, 2024, to be the first team to arrive.
On Sunday morning, the Atlas Lions mission left Rabat for the city of Abidjan on a direct flight, before heading to San Pedro on a domestic flight.
The Moroccan Football Federation said coach Walid Regragui’s battalion training would begin on Monday.
Defending champions Senegal are expected to arrive in Ivory Coast on Tuesday. On the same day, the Egyptian national team (runners-up of the last edition) is scheduled to arrive.
