A young Tunisian man was killed in the French capital, Paris, after a thief attacked him with a knife, stabbing him several times in the chest, which led to his immediate death.
The young man tried to prevent the thief from stealing his mobile phone, which led to a quarrel erupting between them that ended in the young man’s death. Tunisian media revealed the details of the incident that occurred two days ago.
Reports confirmed that the victim, Tariq, was a young Tunisian man in his thirties who was living in Paris for work. While he was drinking coffee in a café in the French capital, someone tried to steal his mobile phone, which was placed on the table next to him.
Tariq defended his phone and refused to leave it to the thief, which led to a verbal altercation and fistfights between them.
Those present in the café intervened and separated them, but this angered the thief, who holds French citizenship, and he returned minutes later with a knife in his hand, surprising Tariq with several stab wounds in the chest area before fleeing.
Tariq fell to the ground, drowning in his own blood, and was taken to the hospital, but he died before arriving as a result of severe chest bleeding.
Medical reports indicated that the stab wounds he received were fatal and led to his immediate death.
