A young Moroccan woman died after taking medical pills she was using to lose weight, which she bought through the social networking site “Instagram”.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Larazon”, the 28-year-old young woman suffered sudden health complications after consuming these pills for two weeks, as blue spots appeared on her body in different areas, and doctors were unable to diagnose her condition or save her life.
The newspaper explained that the young woman bought these pills from an unknown woman who promoted them through her account on the social networking site “Instagram.”
From time to time, campaigns to promote products and medicines of unknown origin spread on social media sites, which the security services in Morocco strictly confront to prevent some people from exploiting these platforms to promote medicines of questionable composition with the aim of achieving financial profit.
