The joy of two newlyweds ended tragically on Sunday, after their car fell into the waters of the Nile River near the ring road in the Maadi area in Cairo.
In the tragic accident, the car fell from the top of the Al-Munib Bridge on the ring road, resulting in the loss of several people and the death of the newlyweds.
Rescue teams succeeded in recovering the stricken car from the bottom of the Nile, in addition to exhuming the bodies of three victims, including the bride’s sister and her cousins, while rescue teams are still searching for the groom’s missing brother.
