The UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Libya, Georgette Gagnon, met with the Mayor of Benghazi, Saqr Boujwari.
The U.N. mission to Libya said in a statement on Saturday that the meeting took place last week in the presence of members of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The UN official said on her X account that during the meeting, they discussed the United Nations humanitarian response to the floods in Derna and the affected areas, including aspects of assistance and sustainable solutions for all displaced people in Benghazi.
