A video showing a Palestinian girl stranded on the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt shouting to Egyptian soldiers in the watchtower that she was hungry was widely circulated on social media.
According to social media users, the girl demanded that Egyptian soldiers throw her a piece of “biscuits” from the top of the tower and allow her and her family to enter Egypt to escape the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, which has been going on for more than three months.
