French press reports indicated that a number of French national team stars and some of the team’s employees were exposed to a collective illness, on the eve of the start of the 2024 European Championship in Germany.
According to the “RMC Sport” network, many of the national team’s players and employees have felt symptoms of a cold, headache and cramps since their arrival at their base camp near Paderborn in Germany in preparation for the finals.
This case raised questions about the presence of a possible virus affecting the national team, but the network confirmed that nothing serious has been revealed yet.
The network explained that the French national team’s medical staff is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of players and staff.
The French team arrived in Germany yesterday, Wednesday, to participate in the European Nations Cup, the competitions of which begin tomorrow, Friday.
The French national team is scheduled to begin its tournament campaign against Austria on Monday, June 17, as part of the fourth group matches, which also includes the Netherlands and Poland.
