A video of a violent brawl over a group of Kurds inside Paris airport has spread on social media.
Charles de Gaulle airport witnessed turmoil and violence, after dozens of Kurds objected to the deportation of Kurdish activist Firas Korkmaz to Turkey.
According to the Turkish newspaper Haberler, Kokmaz is a well-known PKK pro-PKK activist known for his vocal and fierce opposition to the Turkish government.
After trying to seek refuge in France, the French government decided to deport him to Turkey, which angered a number of Kurds and engaged in violent confrontations with the French authorities.
