The Turkish state of Van witnessed a legendary wedding during which nearly 3 kg of gold and 4 million Turkish liras were presented to the newlyweds, making the wedding a hot topic on social media.
The groom, Bayram Eraz, is the son of businessman Murat Eraz, who belongs to the Kurisoniler tribe in Van, while the bride, Asli Gunguralp, is the daughter of the head of the Nationalist Movement Party in Van, Salih Gunguralp, and they were married in a wedding that witnessed many striking shots and a large attendance.
The ceremony was attended by nearly 4,000 people, including tribal leaders, opinion leaders, heads of non-governmental organizations, representatives of political parties, businessmen, and many guests from Turkey and abroad.
During the ceremony, nearly a ton of meat was cooked, and 3 kg of gold was presented to the bride and 4 million Turkish liras to the groom.
According to the Turkish newspaper Zaman, Hassan Tunca, who gave a speech after the wedding, said: “Our wedding was attended by about 4,000 people, and I would like to thank my Eraz and Gunguralp families very much. They prepared a very wonderful wedding. There was wonderful participation from Iran and Russia.” Azerbaijan and Iraq, as well as Antalya, Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.”

Murad Eraz, the groom’s father, expressed his happiness at holding the wedding of his first son among four children, saying: “I am very happy.
