Today, an important meeting was held in Benghazi, led by Libyan Prime Minister Osama Hamad, to discuss ways to implement the military retirement law in response to the directives of Army Commander Khalifa Haftar.

The meeting witnessed the participation of several prominent figures, including the Secretary-General of the General Command, Khairy Al-Tamimi, and the Director of the Military Accounts Department, Attia Al-Sharif, in addition to Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Land Forces, and Marai Al-Barasi, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Libya.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Social Security Fund, Idris Hafidah, and the Director of the Military Retirement Department, Salem Al-Zoubi, Director of the Military Retirement Department.

The law includes all members of the armed forces in the eastern, western and southern regions.
