An Egyptian footballer lost consciousness and fell to the ground during an Egyptian league match, on Monday.
Ahmed Refaat, who plays for Modern Future Club, suffered a sharp drop in pressure that caused him to fall and unconscious, in the last minutes of the match that brought his team together with host Ittihad Alexandria in the Egyptian league.
The referee, Ibrahim Mohamed, decided to end the match before the end after the former player fell in the Egyptian national team.
The player, who regained consciousness and breathing, was rushed to hospital in an ambulance, where he was placed in the intensive care unit in Alexandria, for treatment.
