Egyptian security services arrested mahraganat singer Essam Sasa after he killed a person by running over his car on the ring road in Giza governorate.
Preliminary investigations showed that Essam Sasa was driving his car on the ring road when he was surprised by a person crossing the road, and he could not avoid being run over by the man, then Sasa stopped and waited for the police to arrive.
Sasa was referred to the Public Prosecution, and a sample of his blood was withdrawn for forensic analysis to verify the extent of his drug use while driving, and the car was impounded and examined by an expert in the General Directorate of Traffic.
For their part, the security authorities denied the statements of the business manager of the Mahraganat singer, who claimed that Essam Sasa stopped after seeing another car hitting the deceased, and that she has accurate information about the incident.
It is noteworthy that Essam Sasa, whose real name is Essam Mohamed, is 26 years old, nicknamed “Al-Karawan”, and began his career as a “DJ” and then turned to singing in the world of festivals, and ranked second after Amr Diab in the ranking of the most listened to on “YouTube”.
