A positive 1-1 draw dominated the match between Algeria and Angola at the start of Group D of the African Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Ivory Coast until February 11th.
The “Desert Warriors” opened the score in the 19th minute through Baghdad Bounedjah, before Angolan Mabololo equalized in the 68th minute from the penalty spot.
With this draw, both teams (Algeria and Angola) collected one point, pending the outcome of the second Group D clash between Burkina Faso and Mauritania.
