A delegation from the Turkish Independent Businessmen and Industrialists Association (MÜSİAD) is preparing to visit Libya next June with the aim of examining investment opportunities and commercial cooperation with Libyan institutions.

The Libyan Consul in Istanbul, Salah al-Din al-Kasih, met on Monday at the consulate headquarters with a delegation from the association, in the presence of the consulate’s commercial attaché, Omar Darhoub.

During the meeting, the association’s delegation expressed great interest in investing in Libya, especially in infrastructure development projects, roads, ports, and hospitals.

The two sides agreed on the importance of increasing the volume of trade exchange, which contributes to strengthening bilateral relations and achieving mutual benefits.

During the meeting, a working visit was arranged for the association’s delegation to Libya next June to review the available investment opportunities.
