Sudanese media reported that a Sudanese cargo plane crashed at Camp Ayeda airport in South Sudan on Wednesday.
Reports indicate that all passengers and crew of the Sudanese plane on board have survived, and no injuries were recorded as a result of the accident, and the concerned authorities confirmed that the cause of the accident is due to poor visibility in the fog.
South Sudan has seen a series of plane crashes in recent years, with people forced to rely on air transport due to the south’s lack of a proper road network.
Among them, a plane crash occurred in February, when an Africano passenger plane crashed at Malakal airport, which was involved in transporting returnees who fled the war in Sudan.
