Antonella Roccuzzo, the wife of Argentine star Lionel Messi, faced obstacles in entering the stadium to support the “flea” during the opening match of the 2024 Copa America against Canada on Friday.
According to the video clip published on the “Mundo en Conflicto” platform, the security concerned at the “Mercedes-Benz Superdome” stadium in New Orleans, USA, prevented Antonella from entering the stadium for a period of time because of the handbag she was carrying.
Despite her attempts, she was forced to give up the bag so that she could enter and participate in supporting her husband from the stands.
Security refused to allow Antonella to enter with her bag due to the rules of the tournament organizing committee prohibiting the entry of certain items into the stadiums, which were found in her bag.
