7 people were killed in a collision during the 2024 Fox Hill Super Cross event in Sri Lanka, where a race car burned and crashed into the crowd.
Local media reports said the incident took place in the city of Diyatalawa, about 180 kilometers east of the capital Colombo.
Reports also indicated that the driver lost control of his car and ran over a number of spectators, killing and wounding, including four race organizers, and 20 injured were taken to hospital, including three in critical condition.
