The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced wide-ranging global broadcasting agreements with television rights holders from Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, North America, and the Caribbean.
CAF published on its official website on Wednesday that the agreement included the rights to broadcast the tournament in a number of countries, such as England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Nordic countries, and Brazil.
He said the agreements would allow African Nations matches to be broadcast in 180 countries around the world.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe said: “African football and the Africa Cup of Nations are among the most competitive and exciting competitions in world football.
“This contributes significantly to the quality of African football, as it is globally competitive and as good as the best teams in the world,” he concluded.
