Exciting events broke out at the Philip Mold Gallery in London, where animal rights activists affixed a large image of the cartoon character Wallace onto the first official portrait of King Charles.
In footage recorded by the “Animal Rising” organization, two of its supporters appeared covering the king’s face with a large picture of Wallace from the animated comedy series “Wallace & Gromit,” and expressing their protest against farm conditions and the treatment of animals there.
A phrase was pasted on the board that said: “No cheese, Gromit. “Look at all this cruelty on the farms of the Royal Australian Humane Society.”
The “Animal Rising” organization indicated that the aim of this protest action is to highlight the use of cruelty on farms that carry the “guaranteed” status, which is granted by the Royal Australian Association for Animal Welfare, the institution sponsored by King Charles.
The Royal Australian Association expressed its condemnation of this behavior, stressing that any illegal activity related to granting guarantees to farms cannot be tolerated.
The charitable organization stressed its readiness to confront any allegations regarding its granting of guaranteed certificates to farms with all seriousness and accuracy.
