The Tunisian team, Esperance, succeeded in reaching the semi-finals of the African Champions League in football, after defeating the Ivorian team, ASCK Mimosas, yesterday, Saturday.

The match was decided by a penalty shootout with a score of 4-2, after both the first and second legs ended goalless. The goalkeeper, Amine El-Manssi, shined after saving two penalties, securing his team’s spot in the semi-finals to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the final.

Esperance reached the quarter-finals after finishing second in Group C with 11 points, behind Petro Atletico from Angola. This was achieved through three wins, two draws, and one loss.
