The Algerian Football Federation announced on Saturday the preparatory programme for the Sahara Warriors in preparation for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) finals to be held in Ivory Coast next month.
Coach Jamal Belmadi’s cubs will start a preparatory camp in Lomé, the capital of Togo, starting January 1, and will last for 10 days.
Belmadi is expected to announce in the coming days the final list of players interested in the finals of the “Cannes”.
During its preparatory camp, the national team will play two friendly matches, the first will be against Togo on Friday (January 5th), and the second on January 9th against Burundi.
Algeria’s delegation will travel to Bouaké, Ivory Coast, on Wednesday (January 10th), where they will open Group D on Monday (January 15th) against Angola.
