Syria and China signed a media cooperation agreement, as well as cooperation in governing the administrative policies of media institutions.
According to SANA Syria and China signed an agreement on media cooperation signed on the Syrian side by the Minister of Information Dr. Boutros Al-Hallaq and on the Chinese side by the Minister of the National Administration of Radio and Television of China Cao Shumin.
The agreement includes areas of cooperation in radio and television technology, promoting the application of new technologies, exchanging and distributing programs and news, logistical support for media teams in the two countries, in addition to cooperation in governing the administrative policies of media institutions.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the Director General of Radio and Television, Habib Salman, and from the Chinese side, the Ambassador of the Department of Asia and North Africa at the Chinese Foreign Ministry, and a number of Chinese media officials.
